House and garden

The main house is a traditional Scottish farmhouse, we have two single rooms and one double room. We live as sustainable as possible and use solid fuel for our two stoves, which we harvest and deal with ourselves.

We serve vegetarian food and bake our own bread.

Since 2015 we have a little wooden cottage in the garden where there are two double rooms. With the modern but at the same time traditional style this house is just enchanting.

Our house sits in an extensive garden where it is lovely to spend time and relax. Sika deer, pheasants, partridge, owls and bats as well as squirels and frogs are regular visitors and/or inhabitants. The surroundings invite you to explore further. In the evenings visitors like to meet in front of one of the stoves.

We enjoy unspoilt views into the hills and only live a few minutes by foot from Loch Bran which is a designated SSSI (Sites of special scientific interest).

In very close proximity to the house there are the remains of Neolithic hut circles which are about 5000 years old.

Sweeping forests lead down to Loch Ness past the Falls of Foyers.
